The 4 hour Anaphylaxis management course teaches how to recognise and treat anaphylaxis; from signs and symptoms to the use of adrenaline auto injectors including Epi-pen and Jext. This course also teaches basic life support (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrilator. Participants must be 16+ years.
Course content delivered over 4 hours (1 day)
- Assessing incidents,
- Recognition and treatment for an unresponsive casualt,
- Automated External Defibrilator (AED),
- Pocket mask,
- Recovery position,
- Recognition of a casualty suffering from anaphylaxis,
- Use of an adrenaline auto-injector.
